Los Angeles Youth Orchestra needs flute students!

Hi - I'm the woodwind coach for the Los Angeles Youth Orchestra. We are surprisingly desperate for flute students! Rehearsals start September 11th but late arrivals are accepted. The LAYO is a good quality group and the students get the opportunities to perform real music - this semester, the upper orchestra is learning Beethoven's 2nd Symphony. However, I will be the one hearing auditions so if a student comes with a prepared piece, a major and minor scale and is ready to sight read, then I don't care if they have a specific audition piece or not.

If your student is really interested, then please contact them at LAYO soon, because we would love to audition this Sunday 9/18 if possible! And have them stay for rehearsal if they make it.
