DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday, October 1 for this concert by a wind 
 and piano quartet from the acclaimed chamber music series in Pacific P
 alisades.   The ensemble will perform a wide-ranging program of clas
 sic and contemporary music beginning at 3 p.m. in the Santa Monica Pub
 lic Library’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Auditorium, 601 Santa Monica B
 lvd.\nHighlights of the program will include a Trio for flute, oboe an
 d clarinet by esteemed English composer Malcolm Arnold, a quartet by t
 he popular romantic composer Camille Saint-Saens, a Baroque trio by Qu
 antz, and short works by two contemporary woman composers,  Madeline 
 Dring and local composer Adrienne Albert.  The artists will discuss e
 ach work with the audience prior to performance.\n \nFlutist Susan Gr
 eenberg and pianist Delores Stevens are Co-Artistic Director and Co-Fo
 unders of Chamber Music Palisades www.cmpalisades.org.  Also perform
 ing will be oboist Jennifer Johnson and clarinetist Helen Goode. \nTh
 is program is free and all ages are welcome.  Space is limited and on
