Join us on Saturday, October 1 for this concert by a wind and piano quartet from the acclaimed chamber music series in Pacific Palisades. The ensemble will perform a wide-ranging program of classic and contemporary music beginning at 3 p.m. in the Santa Monica Public Library’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Auditorium, 601 Santa Monica Blvd.
Highlights of the program will include a Trio for flute, oboe and clarinet by esteemed English composer Malcolm Arnold, a quartet by the popular romantic composer Camille Saint-Saens, a Baroque trio by Quantz, and short works by two contemporary woman composers, Madeline Dring and local composer Adrienne Albert. The artists will discuss each work with the audience prior to performance.
